Tulsa SUBWAY Reinvigorates Community with New Take on Familiar Sandwich Shop

A beloved north Tulsa neighborhood is now home to a new SUBWAY, equipped with cutting-edge technology and improvements that make it a first in Oklahoma and a promising bright spot in its area.

Phil Armstrong – Tulsa native and Chief Operating Officer for SUBWAY Franchise Restaurant Development of Eastern Oklahoma – is aiming to reinvigorate north Tulsa by opening the SUBWAY with a few key features: a digital menu, a brand new test oven (the first in the state), and a state-of-the-art NEXTEP Touchscreen Drive Thru.)

Armstrong is proud to invest in his hometown: “I know the community. The community knows me. I worship here, and I want to do business here,” Armstrong told KTUL.

Already, new businesses are opening next door to SUBWAY in storefronts that had stood empty.
