Nino Salvaggio's Adds NEXTEP Online Ordering to Deli Ordering Options

“After an extremely successful implementation of NEXTEP’s Deli Express™ kiosk ordering throughout our stores, it was a no-brainer to add online ordering for all of our deli services,” said Fred Rayle, director of deli operations. “Offering online ordering for our deli gives our customers added benefits and convenience.”
NEXTEP SYSTEM’s online ordering interface for Nino’s was created, designed and launched in 2008. NEXTEP integrates with the corporate website, allows a customer to order deli meats and cheeses in advance for pick up or delivery. NEXTEP leveraged their past experiences in online ordering to create Deli Express Online, an online copy of the screens customers had already become familiar with on Nino’s kiosks. Deli Express Online allows Nino’s customers to shop their Deli from anywhere in the world, submit an order for a date/time of their choosing, and then simply visit the store to pick up their order.
Mynextep.net, a browser-based administrative tool, provides complete, remote administration and reporting capabilities for Nino Salvaggio’s operation management team.
Nino’s and NEXTEP originally partnered in January 2008 to bring NEXTEP’s Deli Express self-order kiosks to all 3 of Nino’s stores. Nino’s was experiencing a significant amount of “Deli blow-by” in their popular Deli and turned to NEXTEP to help them attract more customers and reduce congestion. Nino’s quickly found that the kiosks were a customer relations sensation. Not only were more customers now ordering from the deli, they were also ordering more items per order, a result of the fact that each customer now knew they didn’t have to wait in line for their items. Nino’s had found the perfect solution, and had turned a perceived problem into one of their greatest accomplishments.
